According to **My Experience** On the whole it may be Amazon.com or Ebay.com or any website that a seller may be using to sell his/her stuffs, meeting sellers standards and satisfying customers is a must. If any seller tries to escape for this, then he/she should be ready to find a new business or job for himself/herself rather then continuing in the same manner.

"Amazon.com Inc is trying to survive the economic crisis".
It looks like not only major financial companies are trying prevent themselves from going down while financial crisis is showing its power, but also Amazon.com looks like showing all the signs that deep recession or may be early depression is on its way.
Sellers on Amazon.com are frustrated because every action leads to suspension of their accounts on Amazon. And what’s even worth, sellers find out that their money are reserved by Amazon for 90 days without any right to get them back for that period of time. Every Amazon policy is written in the way that leads to suspension of your account without any serious reason. Amazon blocks sellers accounts and reserves thousands or may be millions of dollars for 90 days without any valid reason. For example, a statement like: "You have 5% of your orders cancelled or refunded, and we suspend your account because of your low selling performance", looks suspicious to me. Don’t the buyers have the right to cancel the order? Or we cannot cancel or refund the order just because Amazon doesn’t want it? Or maybe it wants us to do so in order to block our accounts and hold the money?
It looks like a good way for the company like Amazon to loan money without any interest in this tough economic situation. Do you think Amazon is trying to boost up its bottom line by reserving people's money? Good strategy but looks quite fraudulent.
The government really needs to check Amazon's activities. Companies have no right to reserve people's money for such a long period of time (90 days) or have no right at all. According to Amazon the reason why they reserve your money on their account is that in case if there are any claims from the buyers they will give their money back. Don’t they have 30 day return policy? So what about the rest 60 days?
The rest 60 days is enough for Amazon to invest your funds and make money or probably just cover their losses. Can you imagine what they can do with your money during 90 day period? They can invest many times in inventory or many other things and make it look like a healthy company. But there is no place on their financial statements that shows that this or that amount of money is the actual amount that was reserved (taken) from the sellers without their permission. I think they should be forced to have a section on their 10-K reports showing the amount of money (cash) that is a reserve amount that belongs to sellers on Amazon. Otherwise it makes their financials look good and their potential stock buyers are fooled.
I think their shareholders have the right to know what is going on inside the company. They just cannot continue boosting their earnings by taking people's money without any permission.
Amazon’s “service” that allows others to sell on their website have to be terminated or BLOCKED, like they call it. Because what they are doing it is far from being ethical. I think this company is doomed to be exposed one day like any other company with practices like that.
My recommendations for Amazon stockholders: SELL, SELL, SELL. And to potential buyers: DON’T BUY. Avoid risk as this company doesn’t pay for the risk associated with its actions.

Instead of trying to fight the Amazon system I tried something a little different, I opened a Amazon stealth account. I had my account permanently closed by Amazon and have never even sold 1 item on their site, this is looking like a common problem with the Amazon site, the are able to close peoples accounts, hold onto an money in their accounts (which amounts to an interest free loan), and do all this with out ever giving the account owners an explanation of what they have done that is a violation of their policies. Now I understand possibly banning certain items from being sold, but to outright ban certain people just seems like a discriminatory business practice, and last time I checked it was against the law to discriminate against people in this country (USA).
Since Amazon has taken the path of not giving people an explanation for the action of closing and banning their account permanently I think that the best thing that could be done would be an all out effort to get people to boycott Amazon until they agree to at the very least give people a detailed explanation for closing their account and the chance to make the corrections necessary to meet their policies, I doubt that anyone sits down and reads every word of their policy before signing up for their account, therefore the only time you find out that there is a violation of their policy is when they ban your account.
amazon definitely needs to re-evaluate their policies, but they will not unless we as the users ban together and force some change, now I am the little guy in this scenario and would not ever think that alone I could affect any policy at Amazon, but if we as a group of consumers were to ban together, spread the word, and get enough people to see the injustice of how Amazon handles these situations and agree to just stop using their web site entirely until their agree to make some changes, maybe just maybe we could see some action. After all if you were running Amazon and started to see your company loosing millions of dollars every day because you don't apply your own policies fairly, and won't even give people an explanation for your actions against them, wouldn't you sit down and re-evaluate how your company is operated?
I my self have already taken all references to Amazon and any links to their site from all my web pages, I have quite buying from them, I would rather buy from someone that treats all their associates and sellers fairly, explains reasons for actions taken against them, and give them an opportunity to make changes before outright banning them (and anyone connected to them), I am willing to pay a little more if it means not supporting a discriminatory company such as Amazon has proven to be.
Please join me in this effort, spread the word and get as much support as you can muster, maybe we can make a change maybe we can't, maybe amazon just won't care because they are already making billions of dollars and any effort we put forth will be ignored by them, but if no-one does anything then nothing will change and if nothing changes then Amazon will be able to continue with these outright discriminatory practices, and continue to hold millions of dollars owed to people for 90 days at a time interest free.
