Chief Minister Of Rajasthan Increased Allowances of Councilors:
Chief Minister of Rajasthan (India) Vasundhara Raje decided to increase the allowances of the Jaipur. Municipal Corporation Councilors from Rs.2,175.00 and increase of one and half times. The State Government has also increased allowances per meeting. Local Bodies Director O.P.HARSH said, "The State Government has increased the allowances of Mayor to Rs.7,500.00 from Rs.5,000.00 .Now the councilors would get Rs.200.00 per meeting instead of Rs.100.00".
Harsh said the councilors would get a meeting allowance for a maximum of seven meetings in a month.
Earlier, the state government decided to increase the allowances of Mayor only and also allowance for meeting. But later on government increased the allowances of the councilors also.

Helping Hand Of Rajasthan Government:
Rajasthan BJP Government has given a great relief to the AILING SENIOR Citizens of the state .To Support People aged above 65 years of age; the government has announced free treatment for elderly patients.
Health Minister, Digamber Singh said that by the beginning of this financial year, senior patients will receive free treatment at government hospital and also get basic medicines free of cost.
Besides, diagnostic tests referred by the concerned doctor will also be done free for these patients, who will have to present a proof of identification for verification of the patient’s age. The free facilities will be available for all residents, irrespective of whether they are retired as government or private employees.
Presently, free treatment is available for patients aged above 70 years of age, while a further relaxation of five years will be in effect soon.
Vasundhara Raje Flagged Off SAARC Car rally to Udaipur:
Chief Minister of Rajasthan (India) Vasundhara Raje Flagged off a convoy of 30 Cars, on its way to spreading the message of peace and Harmony from the SMS Stadium on Wednesday 4 April 2007,
The SAARC car rally, which aims at connecting people, strengthening ties moved to Udaipur after an overnight stay in the state Capital
The Chief Minister wished the participants an enjoyable journey in the beautiful desert state. She said that she hoped the rally would strengthen ties as it purported.
Before this The SAARC car rally had reached the city with 120 participants from eight south Asian Countries on Tuesday 3 April 2007.The rally was welcomed by sports and youth affairs minister Yunus Khan at Hotel Khasa Khoti, where local performers treated them to a cultural program. Sports Officer Mrs.Urmila Pokhar was also there. She said that this kind of rally is a great achievement for our state.
The SAARC rally will continue their journey to Mumbai from the city of Lakes, Crossing Gujarat on its way. It will them travel to Sri Lanka .The Car rally ,Organized by Union Ministry of External A affairs in association with the confederation of Indian Industries will cover around 8,200 Km. during its journey between Bangladesh and Maldives where it ends on April 14.
