The Right to be Informed
Under the Consumer Protection Act if a consumer is not satisfied with the good or services he can individually or with a group of consumers or through a consumer organization can approach the related forums as prescribed under law with his complaint.
In India Redressal forums are established in each district and in each state. Forums at District level will hear complaints up to value of Rs.500000 and at State level will hear complaints up to a value of Rs.2000000.
